Academic & Admission

The School curriculum comprises the syllabus prescribed by ICSE board . The medium of instruction is English.

Students are normally admitted during commencement of the new academic year viz. Registration Form & Admission Forms are available at the School Office from the month of October/November . Guardians are to fill in the Registration Form & Admission Form respectively and proficiently . It is to be noted that the Registration Form can be downloaded from the web site or can be collected from the School Office . Candidates will be tested in the standard immediately below that to which he/she seeks admission . A candidate who has attended any other school will have to submit a transfer certificate from the school where he/she last attended.
Age limit at the time of Admission :

 

The School uniform is compulsory on all class day ( 1st March to 31st October : Summer Uniform and 1st November to 28th/29th February : Winter Uniform ) . Winter blazer is compulsory for Classes – VII to XII . Parents and Guardians are requested to observe strictly the specification regarding the School Uniform . Jewellery , valuable ornaments , mehendi , nail polish etc. are not permitted . Students will not bring mobile phone , ipod , cd etc. to School.

 

80% of attendance is must for a student . The evaluation will be based on the Unit Test / Class Test and Terminal Examinations . At the end of the academic year a student must secure 50% marks in each of the core subject to be eligible for promotion.

All examination answer scripts are shown to the parents of all classes . Each and every academic problem and weakness is discussed by the Subject Teacher and the Class Teacher is later notified. If the situation arises the Principal gives her individual attention in trying to solve the problems of the students.

Care must be taken regarding personal cleanliness , hygiene and politeness in speech and conduct of the student . Students also must take part in all activities organized by the School.

The School will have assembly in School Hall . It is compulsory for all students to attend the assembly.

All co-curricular activities like Debate , Elocution , Drawing , Essay Writing , and Quiz Competition etc. are presented by the HOUSES . They are namely RED , GREEN , YELLOW and BLUE . Not only students but the teachers also belong to those four houses.
