NARMADA SCHOOL is a co-educational English Medium School at 170/295A, N.S.C. Bose Road ( 2/45A, Netaji Nagar ) , Kolkata – 700 092 and affiliated to I.C.S.E. And I.S.C. , New Delhi. It is one of the most reputed and oldest school in this locality . The School started from the academic year 1991.

The School continues to be under the general supervision and guidance of Deputy Director of School Education ( Anglo Indian ) , Govt. Of West Bengal.

The School is conducted by Netaji Nagar Narmada Education Society.

 

The School has made a very steady progress under the able guidance of our PRINCIPAL Mrs. Jayanti Ray.

The aim of the School is to prepare boys and girls for developing the character of the students so that they serve the community and country with dedication and sincerity . Beside, the School sincerely takes care of the educational profile of the students with a tailor made objective of the accomplishment of their I.C.S.E. and I.S.C. Examination results.

The School has classes from the foundation level to the senior level i.e. from Nursery to Class – XII.

The School has two buildings with all modern educational facilities. The Primary Section ( Nursery to Class - II ) and Junior School Section ( Class – III to Class – VI ) functions at 4/71, Netaji Nagar , Kolkata – 700 040 and while Class – VII to Class – XII is operating at 2/45A, Netaji Nagar , Kolkata – 700 092.

The School offers a team of dedicated , efficient and trained teachers who are responsible to take the necessary action to build up the future of the students and committed to bring out the best in your child.

Any parents or visitor , wishing to meet the Principal on any urgent business may meet her between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm on Monday and Friday.

The first batch of students appeared for the I.C.S.E. Exam from this School in 2000 and for the I.S.C. Exam in 2007 . Last 5 years 100% success rate in ICSE Examination . Highest 95% , Class Average 75% . In ISC Examination Highest 86% and Class Average 70%.

We have two well equipped Computer Lab with a lot of modern computers , printer and scanner. Most of the computers are LAN connected and Internet connected . There are also facilities for multimedia.

We have a library and have a very good collection of books ( Subject Book & Story Book ) with daily news papers also.

We have also four well equipped labs for Physics , Chemistry , Biology and Geography.

We have trained Group – D staff whom the children call SISTER . The sister looks after the children with a lot of affection and care.
